LORETTA LUDWICK, CONSULTANT
Ms. Ludwick brings over 10 years of experience in special education and administration in public school systems, most recently for the District of Columbia Public Schools and the District of Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), focusing on special education data management, tracking and reporting, auditing and data validation, and the development of special education policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal law and consent decree requirements.
Ms. Ludwick currently serves as a consultant to OSSE, leading the SEA’s effort around special education data quality and reporting. Previous work experience includes consulting with the District of Columbia Public Schools to develop a Parent Handbook and Special Education Reference Guide, serving as Director of Schools for DC Alternatives, Unlimited, a full-time special education school in the District of Columbia, and serving as Project Manager for several education technology initiatives for 4GL Solutions, Inc.
Ms. Ludwick holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University and a Masters in Social Work from Howard University.
