ANGEL JOHNSON, CONSULTANT
Ms. Johnson has been dedicated to serving students with disabilities from the start of her career as a special educator in Hillsborough County, FL, and later as the special education department chair for several school districts in Florida. Currently she serves as a consultant to the District of Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education as Lead Trainer and Content Specialist, responsible for designing/delivering training curriculum to special education teachers, service providers, and school administrators across the District of Columbia on state special education policy, data collection and reporting processes, as well as day-to-day policies and procedures as they relate to serving students with disabilities at the district level.
Ms. Johnson holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Elementary and Secondary Education from Florida State University, and a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
