Tricia guides project teams through political, technical, and cultural challenges to bring medium and enterprise-level systems and processes to life. She is an implementation subject matter expert with a focus on business process reengineering, project management, requirement gathering, data analysis, and the systems development life cycle concept.

Currently, Tricia is managing an implementation of the Teacher Preparation Data  Model (TPDM). The TPDM is a data model UPD created as an extension to the Ed-Fi Data Model with the goal of providing data to teacher preparation programs for continuous improvement. Prior to that, Tricia worked on the New Mexico Public Education Department ITD Organizational Transformation Project where she led the development of a data diagnostic as well as the requirement gathering and documentation process for an intake tool. She also facilitated process mapping and use case generation.

Tricia also lead business requirements gathering and internal and external testing for a number of agile and waterfall Ed-Fi implementation projects, including Portland Public Schools, the Oklahoma State Department of Education, and the Shelby County School District. In Shelby County she also led the district roll out activities including communication, training and adoption.

Prior to joining UPD, Tricia was a business analyst for an education consulting firm where she was a part of several state-wide Ed-Fi implementations including Texas, Tennessee, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Michigan.
